 The Scrubs are a 2 piece cover band out of Kuna Idaho. Our band started by accident in 2021 when my husband Dan (guitarist) and I were messing around with songs we liked and trying to cover them. We discovered that both Dan and myself were very musically talented and it took off from there. The first song we ever covered was "Have you ever seen the Rain" by CCR.  We have played at many different venues around Idaho. Playing live music for people is one of the greatest joys of our lives. There's nothing better than coming together with people over a common love for music.

MEET THE MEMBERS!

DAN

Dan is the guitarist!

He's the cool guy in the band that always has some sort of tom foolery going on. Dan has been playing guitar since he was a child. He was born into a family of music lovers. His father, both his brothers and all his nephews play guitar among other instruments. 

Dan started his music career in Caldwell Idaho in 1983. Dan has played for many bands and been the lead of many bands through out the years. 

Dan sates in an Interview "Being in The Scrubs with my wife has by far been the best band I have been in. Doing something you love with the people you love is the most rewarding thing anyone could have the honor of doing" 

Outside of The Scrubs Dan is a full time chef, Father and Husband. 

Shantelle

Shantelle is the Vocalist/ manager and life of the party!

Shantelle started her music career at age 5 learning to play the piano. From there she learned to play the flute, bass guitar, drums and a few other random instruments when she was bored. Shantelle discovered her passion for singing when she was very young but never sang in public until she was about 14. 

Shantelle Said "Playing music with my husband is so rewarding, it's great to be able to come together and decompress over music. Music is truly such a universal language. No matter who you are or where you live music is heard and understood. It conveys a message every time. I love that music is something that I can enjoy with not only my husband but my children as well. nothing beats a family jam session"

Outside of The Scrubs Shantelle is a full time Medical Assistant, mother and wife.
